I purchased the car in 1991. It already had been set up as a
full chassis race car but was run down. Over 3 years I stripped it down and
completely rebuilt it, including new roll cage and interior bar work.
The suspension consists of struts up front, ladder bar and coil over shocks in the rear.
The engine is a 377c.i. Cleveland. It has an offset ground externally balanced cast
crank, Oliver 5.7" forged rods, Ross pistons and a roller cam and lifters. Cylinder
heads are alloy Motorsport C3 castings, the intake is a Roush style with single four
barrel Holley carb.
The fuel system consists of a Barry Grant pump and regulator.
The trans is a powerglide with a trans brake while the rear end is a 9" nodular iron
centre, 5.14 gears and 35 spline axles.
To date the car has run a best E.T. of 10.43 at 132mph
