My Car - Snapshot!

April 2003
Welcome to the SNAPSHOT!!!!! section. Here, I will post new pictures of my car
as I progress
in my Ford Falcon restoration, with big plans for the future..........
I'm finishing the laundry list of small fixes that are always
associated with these restorations. I think more time goes into
gathering and prepping parts compared to putting them on the car!
Thanks to Jeff Myers he and I managed to get all of the side trim back on
the car save the passenger door as all of my trim pieces were damaged in
some way in this area! So need to round up the trim I need - it's
always something...
We did manage to get the front turn signals in tho - boy does that
add a lot. If all goes well the last of the laundry list for the
exterior will be finished in a few weeks so I can concentrate on the
interior...

The first big part of the interior redo is this tilt column out of a
67 Lincoln Continental. A little grinding and cleaning work will score
me a new tilt column to attach to my 67 Mustang steering box.
With that done I can do a quick shade-tree alignment job so I can get the
new rims and tires on the car. That should last me until I can get the
car professionally aligned when there is some semblance of an interior in
the car.
When I finish the job and know the column is working I'll post a write-up
and pics on the site.
