I purchased the Futura about 6 years ago from a friend in Erie,Colorado. It had been sold new in Denver and was all original including the white paint. It had about 100,000 miles but was in excellent condition. Having grown up in the San Francisco bay area there is just no way I want to drive a car without modifying it. A car is an extension of one's personality.

Here are some of the improvements to date: 69 302 block , dart heads, crane cam & roller rockers, electronic distributor, MSD ignition, Mallory coil, offenhauser intake, Holley 750 double pumper, ceramic coat headers,B&M shift kit and Star shifter, pro tach, centerline wheels & other things.

The body was too cherry to tub for big tires so I left it fairly stock except for molded hood and aerial.Paint is a burgundy metallic lacquer hand rubbed many times. The only thing farmed out was the interior which is a two tone grey tweed with burgundy carpet. I did the trunk as it was fairly easy to do

I hope those who read this enjoy the pictures of my car.
