Jim Turner's 1965 Falcon Futura Hardtop
Location: Southern California
Well that dam bug bit again. And here's the new project.
Started with a 65 Futura 302 with a C-4 Trans and an 8in rear end.
Well that's all gone. I've started with putting a Mustang II front end under this thing it eliminates the shock towers gives me power rack and pinion steering (for the wife) with disk brakes (Falcons don't stop real good)
Now this is the perfect start to a killer ride.
Now we're doing a back half. It's the only way to get 14 ½" wide meat and ladder bars in to hook this bird up.
This project is going to be a 10 second daily driver. For a motor were going to put a stroked 351 Windsor in, making 427 cu in with Edelbrock Victor heads and manifold. For a Trans a tricked out A.O.D. w/Trans brake and a bullet proof 9" with 4.11 gears and disc brakes on all 4 corners.
This project is under way now!
