My Car - Snapshot!

June 2001
Welcome to the SNAPSHOT!!!!! section. Here, I will post new pictures of my car
as I progress in my Ford Falcon restoration, with big plans for the future..........
Well, the time has finally come. This poor car has been ravaged by
Chicago weather, and I was planning on quickly fixing up the car and selling
it, since I have another 65 Hardtop 'desert car' with a Mustang II front
suspension.
A little soul searching found me remembering a lot of good times in this
car, and its amazing how a car can take on a life of its own. To add,
this car would be great 'practice' for the other 65 Falcon. So, this
car will have new life breathed into it....
I have decided to restore the car completely: A lot of new metal is needed,
new paint, new body parts, and new accessories. The start of any
restoration is to tear the car down as far as you can, then begin
rebuilding. Thanks to a lot of friends like Mark
Dinzebach and folks on the tffn, this
car 'will be something to be proud of'.
In this section, I hope to chronicle the restoration process. Hope you
enjoy the show, and email me if you
have any ideas!
