My Car - Snapshot!

  Welcome to the SNAPSHOT!!!!! section. Here, I will post new pictures of my car as I progress
in my Ford Falcon restoration, with big plans for the future..........

  OK I promise this is last of the mechanical upgrades!  Over the winter I decided to save up the money and get a T5 5 speed transmission for the car.  Installation had a few hiccups but except for some fine tuning its in.  Expect a write-up with my experiences.

 Right now I'm looking for some emergency brake components for the rear drums.  I have the emergency brake cables from a donor car as well as a 3:25 rear center section for my 8".  While I'm at it I'll install new driveshaft U-bolt hardware and dump in synthetic gear lube.

  As soon as I have all the parts the 3:25 center section connects up to my aluminum driveshaft, and the emergency brake will once again grace my car - the previous owner completely removed it!

  If all goes well this year the car will have all of the major mechanical upgrades done, with the new interior parts mocked up.  After that its just a matter of getting the seats recovered and putting the interior together.
